Ocean State Roller Derby is a skater-founded and governed roller derby league based in Rhode Island, operating as a 501(c)3 nonprofit. We rely on support from friends, family, fans, and local businesses to keep our league running, and we hope you’ll consider pitching in!

All outside financial support is put towards our operating costs, including (but not limited to): practice space and time; hosting events (including bouts, aka public games); supplies (like our medical kit); and more. Our members are responsible for their own monthly dues and obtaining/maintaining their personal gear, but even with this, it’s not quite enough to keep us operating - or expanding.

Another stretch goal we have is to bring in enough money to offer financial assistance to skaters where cost may be a barrier (gear is expensive!). The more outside support we have the sooner we’ll be able to provide this to members in need.
